When I was 15 years old, I wrote a ballad - a love song. 

That song became the very first we recorded in my first band. I did the pianopart, and let someone else do the vocal.

As soon as we had the recording done, we proudly took it to our highschool music teacher. Without the slightest hesitation, she played in front of the whole class. 

Getting that kind of support as a teenager was invaluable. 

I still love writing songs. - and now I do the vocals myself.
